Bugsy’s boasts having “college town prices” for their happy hours which run from Monday through Friday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the bar upstairs.
Bugsy’s was founded by former Washington Capitals hockey player Bryan (Bugsy) Watson and his wife, Lindy in 1983. It was formerly a pizzeria and became Bugsy’s in 1998. Serving good quality pub and restaurant fare, Bugsy’s is popular with sports fans from the DC Metro area.
Happy Hour Drinks: Beer prices range from $2.50 to $3.50 offering Bud Light, Miller Light, Blue Moon, Port City IPA, Stella Artois, Bugsy’s Brew and Yuengling. House red and white wines are $3.25 per glass.
Happy Hour Food: All appetizers are just $3.50, including nachos, bruschetta, chicken quesadillas, stuffed potato skins, meatballs sliders, chicken tenders, spinach and artichoke dip and garlic bread.
In addition, Bugsy’s offers “Pizza and Pitcher”. Any medium pizza and either Bud Light or Miller Lite for $20.00, or “Pizza and a Bottle” for $30.00.
Ladies Night Friday – All specialty cocktails are half price.
Steve’s Tip: Small bar, mostly locals watching sports. If cigarette smoking doesn’t phase you, then Bugsy’s could be a great hangout to watch your favorite team on one of several televisions.
